About Us

Handmade House is an artist-run gift shop located on Broadway Ave in Saskatoon. This artist cooperative has had a tradition of quality Saskatchewan craft since the early 1970’s and currently represents over 100 artisans. The beginning was tentative with the first venture being a Christmas shop initiated by five women who recognized the importance of making Saskatchewan craft accessible. Over the years the store has become a full-time operation, added a diversity of craft and makers and has moved several times – we have been in the Broadway area since 1986.
